Tips
- Sweep the dry floor with a soft broom or use a vacuum cleaner
- Marks and dirt can be wiped off with a slightly damp cloth, following the grain of the plank. For stubborn marks, use a non-abrasive cleaner. Do not use abrasive cleaners like handy andy.
- Use felt pads under furniture to prolong the life of your wooden flooring, and soft rubber castors on chairs
- Place door mats or dust traps in special areas (halls and entrances).
- Sweep, vacuum or wipe with a damp cloth or mop.
- Best results achieved with a microfibre mop.
- Never use excessive water.
- Never use abrasive cleaners
- Periodically use specially formulated Wood-n-Stone Laminate floor cleaner to maintain the lustre and allergy-free surface of your floor.
- Do not stain with varnish or wax the floors as this treatment will affect the intrinsic properties of the laminate.
- Remove stubborn stains such as those caused by glue, paint, tar, chewing gum, permanent marker pens with Wood-n-Store stain -remover available at Floors Direct stores.
